Bobby and the Hall Monsters*2007 Archive Note: When I was a 4th grade school teacher, my class enjoyed when I 'made up' stories on the spot. So one of the things I did after lunch recess would use the 5 minutes after the class 'settled' to continue with whatever story I was making up that week. I would try to incorporate issues and things that were important to kids in class. One little boy (not namedBobby) had ADHD and needed to 'go in the hall' at times to focus. This was a story dedicated to him, and which made him feel good and laugh. He gave me permission to use it on the 'net. The monster gallery was a very popular feature. Notice the international flavor of the gallery. Also, I've removed any last names. The ages listed were from when the art was submitted.

Who is Laurie?
Laurie is ToonaCat's Cat Mom. She's been writing and drawing ever since Kindergarten. She used to be a 4th grade teacher, but now teaches adults and kids how to use computers, and she makes web sites. Her favorite things are Disneyland, petting ToonaCat, drawing, and reading and writing stories.2007 Archive Note: this was my bio when ToonaCat's Kids Club was active. I ran my own business. Today, I work for a corporation, and this archive project is a way to re-connect with the magic of ToonaCat, and all of the kids I 'met' through their creative work.
