	ToonaCat's Top 10 Favorite Questions Every few months ToonaCat will answer his top 10 favorite questions that kids send in. Also, if he gets a question that he thinks would be fun for kids to answer too, he'll feature it. 1. Dear ToonaCat, My name is Peyton, I'm 8 years old, and I'm in the 3rd grade. I live in Chico, C.A U.S.A. Things I like are art, Jumping Rope and playing. The question I'd like to ask ToonaCat is: Do you have your own room? Dear Peyton, I sure wish I had my own room, but with 5 cats in the family we have to share, and cats are ALWAYS stealing each others' territory. For example, Starla had a cardboard box with a towel in it that she liked to sleep in, but THEN Buster took it over, and Starla started sleeping on top of a blanket in the garage! (Aren't you glad your brother or sister doesn't just 'take over' YOUR bed that way?) --TC 2. Dear ToonaCat, My name is Samantha, I'm 8 years old, and I'm in the 3rd grade. I live in Illinois. Things I like are Karate, Crafts and School. The question I'd like to ask ToonaCat is: Where is your favorite place to sleep? Dear Samantha, My very favorite place to sleep is on the quilt in the guest room. My cat-mama brought that comfy quilt back from a trip to Austria, and it is soooo downy soft and warm. I love to knead it with my paws and curl up in it. But the bad news is my cat-mama and cat-daddy keep the door to the guest room closed so us cats WON'T go sleep in there. They say guests don't like to have to sleep in leftover cat fur. ::sigh::::: --TC 3. Dear ToonaCat, My name is Des, I'm 11 years old, and I'm in the 4th grade. I live in OR. Things I like are to draw and make things. The question I'd like to ask ToonaCat is: Are you real, because I love cats? Dear Des, I'm a cartoon cat on the internet, but I'm based on a REAL cat whose nickname is ToonaCat. All of my cat-brothers and my cat-sister are real cats as well. --TC 4. Dear ToonaCat, My name is Katherine, I'm 5 years old, and I'm in the pre K grade. I live in Idalou, Texas. Things I like are to skate, play & read with friends. The question I'd like to ask ToonaCat is: Do you like to camp outdoors. My family and I like to go camping out at the lake. Dear Katherine, I LOVE to go anywhere outside, and I love climbing trees and chasing bugs, so I think camping would be a blast! --TC 5.Dear ToonaCat, My name is Stephanie, I'm 12 years old, and I'm in the 6th grade. I live in Bradford, PA. Things I like are to read, cook and swim. The question I'd like to ask ToonaCat is: ToonaCat do you like to go in the water or take baths? Dear Stephanie, I HATE to have my bath. My cat-mama puts ucky Vasoline on my eyes to keep the water out, then she and my cat-daddy have to hold me in the bathtub to scrub me while I turn into a frenzied claw-whirligig! BUT I love to jump on the side of the tub when anyone ELSE is bathing. I like to play with the bubbles, and I always try to lick the soap. My cat-mama thinks it is really weird that I like to lick soap, but it tastes good to me! --TC 7. Dear ToonaCat, My name is Sam, I'm 11 years old, and I'm in the 6th grade. I live in Gladwyne, PA. Things I like are play basketball, play with my friends and vacations. The question I'd like to ask ToonaCat is: How come I haven't seen my story yet even though I sent it a while ago? Dear Sam, I love to read all of the stories that are sent, but I get hundreds of them and I'm sorry to say, I can't post them all. Dear ToonaCat, My name is Olivia Nicolle, I'm 9 years old, and I'm in the 5th grade. I live in Geraldton, Australia W.A. Things I like are Horse riding, Watching .T.V. Movie and Cooking. The question I'd like to ask ToonaCat is: Why do you only have a printable form to join your club that you have to fill out, and not just do it on the computer???? Dear Olivia, the reason you need to print and mail me your club membership form is because I require your parent's signature so I know it is ok to post your work. The internet has exploded in the last few years, and while I used to be email pals with almost all of the kids who came here, and got to know their parents as well, there are now so many kids online that it is no longer possible. I feel it is very important that parents know when their kids are sending strangers (even us CyberCats) information online . This way, I know your parents know, and that it is ok with them. --TC 9.Dear ToonaCat, My name is Kristina, I'm 8 years old, and I'm in the 1/2B grade. I live in St. Albert, Canada. Things I like are go to bonkers, go to school and do crafts. The question I'd like to ask ToonaCat is: Why do our teeth fall or come out? The question I'd like to ask ToonaCat is: What is your favorite food, besides tuna? Mine's is pizza with pepperoni!!!!! Dear Katrice, my favorite food besides tuna, is vanilla ice-cream! I love it when my cat-mama gives me a lick off of her finger. I don't get too much though, because sugar isn't good for a cat's teeth. --TC
